The best time to visit Lakshadweep is from October to mid May. From mid May to September it is rainy. Though all the resorts in Lakshadweep are open throughout the year, reaching there by ship is difficult during monsoon. Islands like Agatti and Bangaram are pleasant even during the monsoon and can be reached by flight form Kochi. Reaching resort like Kadmat, Minicoy and Kavaratti is difficult as they are not connected by flight or helicopter. During monsoons, transport from Agatti to Bangaram is only by helicopter. Nevertheless the rainy season presents a breathtaking experience when the vegetation looks greener than ever and the veil of rain adds a different hue to the beauty of lagoons and the blue seas beyond. Although flights operate through out the year for the tourists, ships operates for local passengers only and are not available for tourist transport during monsoon.
Day 01: Arrival in Cochin
Once you arrive in Cochin (mid-morning), meet our representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Enjoy your stay in one of the most well-known resorts near Fort Kochi, a specimen of Old Portuguese architecture. If you want you can enjoy a boat ride in the evening as the fort is close to the Harbour. The evening is scheduled for a Kathakali dance performance. Stay overnight in Cochin
Day 02: Cochin – Agatti
On day 2, get on-time transfer to the Cochin airport to board a flight to Agatti. On arrival, meet an representative who helps you with an assisted launch transfer to an island resort in Bangaram. The day is free for leisure activities. Overnight in the resort.
Days 03 – 07: Bangaram
Days 3 to 7 of the itinerary are going to be action-packed. You indulge in water sports at Bangaram, popular as ‘Jewel of Lakshadweep’. Explore the amazing surroundings of your beautiful resort and unwind your tired self in these 5 fun-filled days. Indulge in water sports activities such as snorkeling, speed boat ride, fishing, sailboat, water skiing and scuba diving. Bangaram is also rich in marine life. Your excursions are headed by expert instructors.Overnight in the resort.
Day 08: Bangaram -Agatti – Cochin
In the morning, get transferred to Agatti airport by a launch to board a flight for Cochin. On arrival, meet our representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities-interact with the locals, taste local delicacies, visit the well-known tourist attractions or the markets, etc. Overnight stay at cochin.
Day 09: Departure
Get transferred to the International airport to board a flight for your onward destination.
